Current Setup
Alright, so my current setup is pretty simple and straight forward… It’s the same system I’ve been using for the past 4-5 years for school and photography and so far it’s been working pretty well, but ideally the more I can keep everything organized, the better.
I pretty much have a folder dedicated to Documentary Media, at which point it breaks into specific folders for each class, and within each class is either school work or photos. I would also have a folder within each class folder for my edited photos. All my photos then go into Apple Aperture to further help with the organization of so many photos.
The main problem I’ve been encountering is when I start to have too many photos… but perhaps this is where a problem would most likely arise. It is through this project that I hope I can correct this issue and create a more efficient archive and database for my own work.
